Staying at home on Monday, thanks to youth day. Still struggling to finish my social studies project. Yesterday was balloon day, we sec 3s went to orchard, scotts rd, somerset rd and plaza singapura. The "selling" part is not fun at all, what really fun is the "making" part. We didn't hit the target of 25 000 balloons, not sure what the actual number was, but at least most of us did our best.

School reopen, happy or sad. To be honest, I'm neutral. There won't be much difference after all, except that my holiday homework is not completed. Wrote a personal reflection yesterday in english class about the June Holidays, mine was a boring one. After listening to Ryan's, Nani's and Adam's, their's was like spending their time to the fullest unlike me.

Still need to do "Jian Bao", blog again next time.

Parasite Eve 2

The game that I have been "stuck" at for ages, well not for ages since I started playing the game december 2003. Parasite Eve 2 is a RPG game by square-soft or now known as square-enix(not sure how to spell). But square took out most of the RPG part and took alot of story with it.

I won't say much about this game, just a brief introduction. See the 2 picture above? Eve and Aya, don't they look alike? Well, they are..erm better not say, but they are not sister. The main character, Aya Brea, is a member of M.I.S.T department - Mitochondrion Investigation and Suppression Team. (The reason why I put Eve first is because she looks cuter)

The game is about the battle against the Neo Mitochondrion creatures, or creatures that undergo evolution due to some reasons. PE2 is always in pretty creepy environments that are complimented by eerie sound effects. Players will get to roam through a deserted motel, a mineshaft, and other places I won't spoil. But every location has a feeling of unease that keeps a lot of great tension throughout the game.

PE2 uses real-time/RPG battle system, somewhat similar to Resident Evil. But the creatures are faster if compared. And also, before I miss out, the main character Aya has a special ability call Parasite Energy to help you throughout the game. Some of them are healing, lightning, inferno etc. etc.

Sounds fun? Try it out today, but be warned, It is scarier than Resident Evil.

Had a boring day today, watch house of wax, play basketball & nothing else I guess. Well, the main concern is tomorrow when we get back our Report Book. No mood to do anything now, just hope that my result is not as bad after it is added with the C.A. marks.

Type about the camp stuff a couple of days ago, but save it as draft. Everyone's blog look the same right? With all the same dull camp stuff? Anyway, the camp was a nice one, a splendid one. I chose the survivor group, which rawks to the core. I'm in the group 4.1, or suppose to be named as "odin". But for some reason or another, we have change our name at the camp. We named ourselves "not the pigs but the elephants". I won't talk about it, can read about it at other blogs I guess.

Today went to school to get back our results, did alot better than I expected. Well 'cause I expected more than 1 subject to fail, but it turns out that only Social Studies "cmi" or can't make it. the following are my results:

E-maths - 50.5%
Geography - 72 %
Social Studies - 38%
English - 50%
A-maths - 81%
Biology - 61.5%
Chemistry - 50%
Physics - 58%
Chinese - lazy to count

Bad right? One of the worst result seen in these few years, one the worst result for sec 3 level seen in these few years I guess. I thought my mother was going to scold me or something, but it turns out that she didn't scold me instead told me that there's still year end exam. Gotta work hard from now on.

Come to think of it, I always tell myself to work hard, but did I do it? Anyone guillty of this? Friday will be getting back our report book, that's when I will die. Play while I can now.

Today was the killer English paper 2 and Social Studies, let talk about English paper 2 first. I think the passage was purposely for me, because I'm bad in my vocabulary and the passage was full of "chim" words for me. I didn't understand the whole paragraph 3, take a look:

"Overall estimates by government indicate that infant and under-five mortality have declined. The Maternal Mortality Rate has decrease from 89 per 100,000 live births in 1990 to about 53 per 100,000 live births. Although the decline is impressive, the rate of decline has been falling over the decade. There is also wide variation within the country - even between provinces there can be three0fold differences. Can someone explain to me what this means?

Knew that I would fail my English, the next concern is Social Studies. Now I understand the meaning of reading the question. I was busy doing question 1 and 2, after I finish the 2 question, I have no time for question 3 (the last question). Question 1 was Source Based Question [SBQ] and question 2 & 3 is Structured-essay Question [SEQ]. I keep thinking that I not enough time to finish, then after the paper, Hakim (zia) asked me "you do question 2 or 3? " I was shock, then I check my paper..

Sunday, exceptionally different from other sunday. Maybe it's because of the S.S. and English exam coming up tomorrow. English is quite okay, what really matters is the Social Studies. Now that I think of it, I understand why people dislikes/hates miss soh.

Woot! Scream everyone, Ahhhhhhhhhh.......

Hahaz, enough of nonsense. You know what? I actually got the shoutbox in place! I was having some problem yesterday, and the cbox will be taken down soon. Yesterday I didn't gave detailed entry of my paper 1, so i'm going to write a better one today..

Yesterday's exam started off will english paper 1. We are suppose to assemble at the hall at 12:20, but I reach at 12:25. Got scolded by, erm...can't really remember. I was in a harsh and ignore the teacher, but who cares? I wrote on Question 2, which is "advertisement prey on teenagers and the fashion-conscious, do you agree?" but I prefer the name that Hakim gave for it, "advertisement are the brainwasher of teenagers and the fashion-concious".
Anyway, I did badly for this paper. My only hope left is the paper 2 on monday..

Follow shortly after the english paper was Chinese paper 1. It is relatively simple compared to the english paper. The "gong han" was simple, what that really pull me down is the compo. I did on Question 5, the "wen zhang bao dao". Anyway, I did quite okay for the chinese paper.

I totally forgot about the library today! How could I? Nevermind, I still have next week? Depends...

Today was english and chinese paper 1. Can't believe it, I actually guessed the section 2 of the english paper correctly!! But I never prepare for it, *sob* but then it does not really matter. I did badly for english paper 1, but chinese paper 1 was still okay..

That is the start, but then I notice I started at the wrong time. The mid-year is around the corner, tomorrow would be English and Chinese Paper 1..

Anyway, I won't stop writing because of the coming exam. Just that I will be slower..Yesterday was tuesday, 3rd May 2005, the day of my chinese oral exam. Can't believe it, I didn't have anything to say. If I would grade myself, it would be 13/30..that means FAILED!! Really did badly yestersday, must work harder for Chinese paper1, paper 2 and paper3. WHAT? the oral is used for both S.A.1 and S.A.2? die man, can't live le..

Regarding tomorrow's english paper 1, Miss Yati drop alot of hints in the class today about the section 2. She kept saying read the AHS prelim 2004 carefully, I think tommorow's paper is similar to it in some way but I'm not sure about it.

And the last thing before I go, I would get the Biology powerpoint slide from Miss Woon Project drive and IF possible, I would try to host it for downloading on my blog. Most probably I would get it tomorrow..

The homeroom system which the school has adapted this year really makes a chaos of the whole school, students have to climb up and down the school to get to each class room. The teachers have their own classroom instead of the students having their own classroom, which means the whole school: 40 x 37 = 1480 students walking around the whole school instead of about 37 teachers walking.

Let's see:
Good Point: lower over-weight rate, fitter students, refresh of mind before each lesson.
Bad point: Fat teacher, sleepy teacher???, traffic jam.

Some of the symtons is what i have notice these few days, and some is what i think will happen in the future. I will do an comparison at the end of the year and see what other points I can include.

"New Year, New Class, New Life", i going to use this title for my first journal entry. Though school only reopen for two days, but can't stop hearing seniors comments to the teachers. Having known the teachers before hand, but when it's our first lesson with the teacher, it seems different from the comment from the seniors. I guess it's just that we still don't know the new teachers quite well.

Chrismas is near, so is New Year. Two things to be happy about, or should i say bad? A few more "jian bao" to go, but due to chrismas and New Year, 2 day less to do. Stop all these crap, just read the A-maths textbook yesterday. It was difficult as expected, chapter 1: SETS quite confusing, but i guess it's the easiest compared to the other chapters. Which means next year = death. Hahaz

Osiri was having a hard time attracting customers to her pottery shop, so she asked the Lenny Conundrum writer if her shop could be featured in this week's Lenny Conundrum. And obviously, since you're reading this, the Lenny Conundrum writer agreed. And her gift of a Jewel Encrusted Bowl had nothing to do with it, even though it will look beautiful in my Neohome.

Anyway, the first day after the Lenny Conundrum appeared, she had 13 customers. The next day, she had 14. The next day, 95 customers! And the day after that, 62.

How many total customers did she have in the first twenty days after the Lenny Conundrum appeared?

Difficult isn't it? well, if anyone happens to know the answer plz tell me...By the way, the answer for the previous post is 312,211.

Playing neopets for the past few weeks, you may think it is childish, but something change my mind. I used to think it is childish until i came across this 'puzzle' game call the Lenny Conundrum, it has new puzzle every week and it's harder than you can ever expected. This week puzzle is really a headache, it is as follow:

The next, "11".

Haizz...end of the 6/2 chalet, can't believe time flies so fast...Though having chalet for 4-days 3-night is considered long, but to think that we only meet once a year, i think it is considered short...things are getting so sianz, for three years we had chalet at the same place. All the things there play b4 le...they should think of a new chalet area...

First trip to escape, or should i say second....First was the halloween trip, den todae was the second...Quite fun, can't believe i overcome my fear and played almost all the games...should i call it a game...hahaz, wadeva it's called...but there's one that i should n't had play, the superman ride or wadeva it's call...it's so dizzy...

Long time never update le, haizz...things hadn't been well for me lately. Firstly was my result, I did well for all my subject except language. Well, I had expect that as I usually do badly for it, but I did really badly for my chinese this time. I used to score B3 - B4 for my chinese in mid-year and end of year exams, but this time I FAIL. I cannot believe it, but can only blame myself for slacking too much. My average was 67.4, good or bad? I never had high hopes of scoring average of A2 for all my subject, but it seems that I'm moving nearer to it. Though there was an improvement, there was an evanescence of my dream. My dream of getting into triple science class, seems to be disappearing...haizz...what can i do? I guess i have to leave everything to fate, it should be able to make a good decision for me.

Secondly was my friend, though this does not concern me, but friends should help each other in times of trouble...isn't it? Louis Chua from class 2/2, he...should i say this out? people from my class should know, what 'bout the others? I might be saying a secret out, I guess i have to keep this to myself. I would only say this out if he allows...but he might never allow...

Being so troubled for this few days, the chalet was really a good help to relief stress. I guess I played too much at the chalet, guo4 huo3 would be the word to describe it...Me and teh really did stupid stuff at the chalet...hahaz...Louis Chua brought a pink dolphin doll for his crush, Xin Yi, but me and teh purposely brought pink dolphin drink and drink it infront of him. Hahaz, you might not find it funny...but if you were there, you will think it is...

tml get back result le...haizz...feeling veri scared now...esp for english, science, literature and chinese...though my parents would not be angry wif me for getting bad result, but i dun wish to disappoint them...

todae's trip to bird park was quite boring...we had to follow a trail, and had no xtra time for ourself...it was boring, but was also enriching...we learn about the types of penguin and hawks found in the world...get a chance to get close to the birds dat we dun usually see everydae...i would realli prefer zoo than bird park, hope next time they would choose zoo...but would dere be a next time?

Exams is not over yet, but everyone seems to slack at this time. Like louis, he thinks that maths and D&T is not important. hahaz, but if you fails to get into the combination of you subject you wanted, blame it on urself...

Xams almost over le, just like school, goin' to be over soon. Three weeks, three weeks to holiday, can't bear to leave the class...together for two years le, but goin' to part le. haizz...so hope all of us get into the same class, neba to part again untill sec 4. Will it be better to leave now or sec 4????

After spending 2 hours to complete the layout of this blog, i'm still not happy with the result. Firstly, i'm not sure whether the background is able to contain more than 2 entries anot. Secondly, the contrast of the words and the background does not fit. hopefully i will find a solution to these problem as fast as possible.
